전상현 Sanghyun Jeon | 책임 건축가, 대표

2002년 국민대학교 건축과를 졸업하고, 2012년 베를린 공과대학 urban management 석사과정을 졸업했다. 건축사사무소와 인테리어 디자인 회사, 건설사에서 15년간 근무한 후 2020년 독립했다. ‘숭인공간’으로 2021년 건축문화대상 신진건축사 부문 우수상을 수상했고, ‘한가한 빌딩’으로 2025년 우리 동네 좋은 집 찾기 공모전 좋은 새집 부문에 입선했다.

저서로는 ‘도시유감’, ‘서울, 도시의 품격’, ‘셔블 셔울 서울’이 있다.

He graduated from the Department of Architecture at Kookmin University in 2002 and earned a Master’s degree in Urban Management from the Technical University of Berlin in 2012. After 15 years of professional experience in an architectural firm, an interior design studio, and a construction company, he founded SPACE MATTER Architects in 2020. His project Soongin Space received the Excellence Award in the Emerging Architect category at the 2021 Korea Architecture Awards. In 2025, his Hangahan Building was awarded in the Non-Residential category of the national competition Finding Good Houses in Our Neighborhood.

He is the author of Humanistic Doubts on the City, Seoul: The Dignity of the City, and Shubble Shuh-ool Seoul.
